- Thermal Shock Resistance: An ultra-low Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE ~0.55 x 10⁻⁶/°C) allows it to survive rapid, extreme temperature changes without cracking.
- Optical Clarity: Broad transmission range. Depending on the grade, it transmits deep Ultraviolet (UV), Visible, and Infrared (IR) light.
- Chemical Purity & Inertness: Highly resistant to water, salt solutions, and acids (except hydrofluoric and hot phosphoric acid), making it ideal for semiconductor and lab use.
Quartz Grades We Process
We select the appropriate grade based on your specific optical or industrial application:
- JGS1 (Synthetic Fused Silica): Ultra-high purity. Excellent for deep UV (Ultraviolet) and laser applications.
- JGS2 (Fused Quartz): High-quality optical grade for visible light and general optical components.
- JGS3 (Infrared Quartz): Specifically formulated for high transmission in the Infrared (IR) spectrum.
- Industrial Grade Quartz: Used for high-temperature furnace tubes, sight glasses, and semiconductor carriers.
