Details Introduction

What is Double-Sided Polishing

Double-sided polishing is a precision glass finishing process in which both surfaces of a substrate are polished simultaneously using upper and lower polishing plates. This process achieves exceptional parallelism, flatness and surface roughness on both faces in a single operation, making it the preferred finishing method for optical windows, laser components, semiconductor substrates and precision reference flats where tight geometric tolerances are required on both surfaces.
